Royal Malaysian Police's CCID Branch has done investigation on six different locations under Anti-Money Laundering Act in a detailed investigation on 1MDB scandal under former Malaysian 6th Prime Minister, Najib Razak.
This is a 1MDB-related investigation, including those RM2.6 million of moneysiphoned from 1MDB found transferred into Najib Razak personal bank account said as a gift from anonymous royal of Saudi Arabia.Those locations includes Prime Minister's Office, Najib Razak official residence in Taman Duta and his four other related residences.
1. Prime Minister's Office
Documents related to 1MDB has been seized from the Office of the Prime Minister, Putrajaya.
2. Pavilion Residences
In an upscale Pavilion Residences, CCID has confirmed they has done investigation on three different units including a multi-million penthouse owned by some Tan Sri's, carried away all seized items in five police Black Marias, items includes:
824 boxes containing high-end branded handbags, including Hermes Birkin bags.
72 luggage/ carrier bags containing RM120 millions in cash in various denominations, a rather large amount of jewelleries and watches.
3. Najib Razak's Taman Duta Residence
A 20-years old locked safe box, said key missing, so the police has to drill-open the safe. It is later reported that the mystery..
A safe box contains small amount old foreign currency and Najib & Rosmah marriage certificate.
Boxes contains 52 branded handbags, 10 luxury watches.
RM537,000 cash in multiple currencies.
4. Seri Perdana
8 more locked safe box, also with no keys, so the police has to drill-open all the safes one by one.
