Penang has opened a unique spiral or circular bridge, only to walking pedestrian and bicycle riding
near Queensbay Mall in Bayan Lepas Penang.
Since
PH won the election in #GE14, Penang authority named this as
Jambatan Harapan (translate: the Bridge of Hope), separating cyclist from vehicular traffic crossing Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway 11 meters below.
Penang Spiral Bridge is part of larger interconnected
Penang Island Coastal Cycling Route that currently being built since 2016 with a total cost of RM8.9 million. Since Penang is heavy in traffic already, why not go green and sweat a bit by occasionally heading to Penang Spiral Bridge as an option both for commute or recreational. Only
5° in elevation, easier than your treadmill.
