At 7:10am April 14, 2018, Ukranian cargo plane Antonov An-225 Mriya arrived in KLIA, making it the third time
KLIA witness such gigantic,
the biggest plane in the world, previously in 2007 and 2016.
When the largest plane on the planet comes to town, it tends to attract attention. Antonov An-225 or Mriya, the truly jumbo jet is 84m long and 18m high. It stacks up superlatives,
longest body,
longest wings,
heaviest plane on the sky.
Thanks to six engines and heavy landing gears with 32 wheels. This 600 tonnes aircraft can carry 250 tonnes of super heavy cargo loaded through its nose. Since Soviet Union collapsed before they got to built more of this rare aircraft, 1980s' An-225 is
the only one of its kind today.
It is an engineering marvel and frankly if you do not see it with your own eyes it is hard to believe it can ever fly.
